Volunteer Team of the Year

VOLUNTEER TEAM OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Volunteer Team of the Year Award allows our community to recognize and celebrate a volunteer team – consisting of two or more volunteers that serve on a common focus area- who have gone above and beyond in their volunteer service.  The purpose of this award is to honor a volunteer team whose dedicated service has had a significant impact on the agency that they serve and/or the community at large.  The award is given to a team of volunteers that has served in any way that has benefitted the community.

AWARD CRITERIA:

  • Two or more volunteers working together as a team on a common focus area.

  • Strong volunteer characteristics that could include:  dependability, flexibility, initiative, cooperation and positive interaction with others.

  • Going above and beyond to make a positive impact on the agency that they serve or the community at large.

  • Having a positive impact that could include:  increasing the capacity of the agency that they serve, recruiting additional volunteers, raising funds, etc.

Eligibility:  Nominees must have served in an impactful role and cannot have been a winner of this award in the past 5 years.

The winning team will be presented the award at the Flagler Volunteer Service’s Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Palm Coast Community Center.
